I have always been drawn to the simple and naïve style of folk art. It's a form of painting I enjoy the most.
The colors of this work are rich and bold. The tree takes center stage in this work, depicting a strong and powerful presence, seemingly moving and flowing gracefully. The bride stands close by in a green pasture, and watches and waits for her beloved to come.
