"Lavender Trees" was painted over a work I created soon after I moved to North Carolina from New York a few years ago. It is a landscape painted in acrylic.

The "Priestly Blessing" from Numbers 6: 24-26 was etched into the original painting. And with the new work that covers over it, that scripture is embedded into this one as well, like a hidden treasure.

The painting is very soft with beautiful variations of greens, blues, pinks and corals. It's one of my favorites because its so calming and peaceful.
